Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
As part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations marking the 70th Anniversary year, Finedon Town Council is proud to be involved and be part of the national celebrations. Local celebrations include a funfair in Tainty Field, on Friday 3rd June and Saturday 4th June 2022. The funfair will be between the hours of 12-6pm and we look forward to seeing you then.
Please note, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

The Queen’s Green Canopy
The Town Council are pleased to have took part in the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative, by planting trees for the Platinum Jubilee in celebration of The Queen’s 70 years of Service to the Nation.
The trees have been planted on the Green and can be seen on the The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) map using the link below.

Farewell to Reverend Richard Coles
Reverend Richard Coles has retired as the vicar from the Church of St. Mary-The Virgin, where he has been serving since 2011. Members of the Town Council were sorry to see him go, but were delighted to give him a thank you gift for all of his service to the community.
The Town Council wishes him a happy retirement and best of luck in his future.
