Charity Tractor Run
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who came to the Town Council Christmas Fayre yesterday.
After a false start in Banks Park we relocated to the Community Centre for safety from the ever-increasing wind strength.
A VERY BIG thank you to our stall holders who set up in record time and to the BUFFS who supported us so well.
The entertainment was outstanding! Another BIG thank you to Jonathan Reynolds and Friends including dancers from the Barbara Hooten School of Dance, Raunds Temperance Band, The Finedon Mynxes and the Finedon Infant and Junior School Choir.
Santa even made a stop in his busy schedule with presents for the children.
A lovely few hours but we missed the Reindeer, (hopefully next year).
Wishing all residents a very happy Christmas and New Year.
Gordon Swann
Finedon has lost a legend with the sad passing of Gordon Swann.
Gordon was a dedicated Councillor on the Finedon Town Council and served his community for decades. He brought his own unique, forthright views and always fought for the good of the town. Finedon will not be the same without him.
We wish to thank Gordon for his service and may he rest in peace.
Our condolences to Ann and his family.
